The Makeup Show Celebrates Industry Legends Eugenia Weston and Davis Factor on March 19 and 20, 2016

Icon Gallery Set to Feature Over 20 Photos and Pieces of Work From The Artists Inspiring Lives

Los Angeles, CA (February, 2016) - The Makeup Show is thrilled to have an opportunity to continue their mission of education, inspiration and access to the biggest artists and brands in the business with the return of The Makeup Show Icon Gallery. Following the success of previous two years which honored legendary artists Kevyn Aucoin and Ellis Faas, this year's Icon Gallery will showcase two of the industry's greatest pioneers: Eugenia Weston and Davis Factor.

Eugenia Weston
The Makeup Show Icon Gallery will be celebrating the 40 year evolution of this renowned makeup artist, in which she transformed from a drug store cosmetic counter girl to celebrity artist, SENNA Cosmetics brand builder, and product inventor. A pioneer in the beauty industry, Emmy nominated Weston has worked with icons including Helmut Newton and Bette Midler. Truly obsessed with brows, she broke new ground with the revolutionary Form-A-Brow stencil shaping kit. Cited as a 'muse' by Kevyn Aucoin, she is gifted with an intuitive eye for color and a talent for teaching pro artists and consumers how makeup transforms beauty and life.

Davis Factor
Davis Factor, the great-grandson of legendary cosmetics pioneer Max Factor and co-founder of Smashbox Studios and Smashbox Cosmetics, David grew up surrounded by Hollywood and beauty before eventually carving out his own niche in the industry. Inspired by the many greats that surrounded him during his upbringing, David also became a renowned photographer, building up an impressive body of work over the past 30 years. A collection of his photographs on display at this Icon Gallery will be a selection of Davis' acclaimed celebrity portraiture.

These galleries will give both established artists as well as those just starting out an opportunity to see both the processes and personal possessions of these esteemed artists and also a rare glimpse of the professional tools and techniques that have made their way into the makeup artist's lexicon. The Icon Gallery is complimentary and open to all ticket holders of The Makeup Show LA.

The Makeup Show LA will be held on Saturday, March 19 from 9 am to 6 pm and on Sunday, March 20 from 9 am to 5 pm at California Market Center, 110 E. 9th St, LA. For a complete list of participating brands, educational speakers, schedule of events and prices, please visit www.themakeupshow.com.
