Please don't forget to enter Pacifica Eyeshadows Giveaway. It ends April 26, 2016 at 11:59 p.m. PST (Pacific time).

I am fortunate to receive some products from The Body Shop.

Isn't the packaging adorable?
Not only that, it came in a cute box.
I took this picture from my Instagram. Since it's almost summer, my skin is getting darker. For that reason, the Darkening came in hand. I will be reviewing this product.

Thoughts: When I first saw this, I thought this was amazing! We all have foundations that need darkening or lightening because we bought the wrong shade.
Here's a closer look at the dropper. Is it just me or does this look like chocolate? By the way, please don't eat this!
Here's a swatch of the product on my hand.
Here's one drop of Darkening with my foundation, bareMinerals BareSkin Foundation in Bare Ivory, on my hand.

Before I move on, let me tell you some information...

"HOW DOES IT WORK?
A concentration of black and red pigments help to darken while keeping the natural depth of dark-to-deep foundation shades.

1 DROP = 1/2 SHADE DARKER"

I got this information from my press kit. They said this better than I ever could! Basically, the one drop from the picture above will darken my foundation half a shade darker.
Here's how the foundation looks on m hand when I mixed with a drop of Darkening.
Here's an overall look with the foundation with Darkening.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, there's no scent whatsoever when you apply the product onto your skin. I just sniffed the product with my nose and it has a light, sweet floral scent. I actually like the smell. Secondly, I like the packaging. It's small enough to put in your hand, at the same time, it's extremely travel-friendly. It's made out of glass and I cannot see it crack unless you're extremely harsh. I also like the dropper. Most droppers drip even when you're not squeezing the dropper. This doesn't drip unless you squeeze the product. Third, the consistency is medium. It's not extremely thick that makes it hard to work with. It's not thin that it's watery. It's a great consistency and extremely easy to mix with the foundation. Honestly, I haven't tried it but I don't know why you cannot mix this with loose powder foundation. I might have to test this out! Not only that, if my theory is true. You can also mix this with loose/creamy products like concealers, lotions/moisturizers, and so on. You can get imaginative with this product! It's an extremely versatile product or at least in my opinion. Also, this product will last a long time. A little goes a long way. I used one drop each time when I mixed the products, and I cannot even see the product go down. Fourth and after mixing the Darkening with the foundation, I noticed the product became less yellow and more brownish-gray. Since I have yellow skin and brown tone, it didn't make a difference on me. For people with pale skin, I can see it be a little grayish for their tone. This is targeted for medium to dark individuals. With that said if it's too brownish-gray, you don't have to use it as a foundation. You can actually use this as a contour. I don't see why you cannot be versatile with this product. Lastly, it lasted all day without any separation of color. This product is amazing and highly recommended for makeup artists. You can use this on your clients!

Pros:
* Light, sweet floral scent.
* Cannot smell anything while applying.
* Travel-friendly.
* Sturdy packaging.
* Well-made dropper.
* Medium consistency.
* Easy to mix.
* Versatile product!
* A little goes a long way.
* For medium to dark skin individuals.
* Makes the product less yellow and more brown.
* Lasted all day!
* No separation of color.
* Great for makeup artists!

Cons:
* Not for pale skin individuals.

Would repurchase: Yes.
