Thoughts: When I first heard about this product, I was intrigued. For that reason, I purchased the lightest shade at the time.
Here's a closer look at the color. The website describes it as mauve.
Here's a closer look at the applicator. Most liquid lipsticks are bent on one side at the tip. This is but not as much. It's slightly bent but I have to say it's close to being straight. I feel it's more bent at the part it goes from the white part to the fuzzy applicator.
Here's a swatch of the lip paint on my hand.
Here's how it looks on me.
Here's an overall look. I have MAC Royal Assets: 6 Warm Eyes and MustaeV Tension Fit Liquid Liner Brush Pen on the eyes, and NARS Dual-Intensity Blush in Jubilation on the high points of my cheek, tip of the nose, and cupid's bow.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, there's no noticeable scent while applying. I just sniffed the lip paint and it has a slight scent. It smells like peppermint. Secondly, the consistency is creamy and slightly thick. It doesn't look and feel like most liquid lipsticks; liquidity. This feels like a creamy lipstick in a lipstick tube. With that said, it goes on easily and does not tug on the lips. The color is also very opaque and one pull from the tube is good enough for the entire mouth. I'm also a huge fan of these type of applicators. They're easy to use and easy to define the outside of the lips. Third, this doesn't dry like a typical liquid lipsticks. When you first apply this lip paint, it doesn't go on shiny. It goes on creamy, semi-matte and then it dries matte. Once it's set, it doesn't feel like you're wearing any lip product but it's comes off. I read a review that it takes several hours before it becomes smudge-proof. I don't know if I agree with that. With that said, this lip paint will show all your flaws. If you have really dry lips, this isn't for you. It will show the dry, patchy skin as well as your fine lines. Thankfully, it doesn't show the deep lines as others I have tried. My lips would look good with this lip paint if it wasn't for the dry patches. Fourth, the color is gorgeous. To be honest, I initially did not like the color on me. I thought it was too brownish-red for my taste. I actually liked it better the second time to now. It really makes a difference on what you're wearing, as well as, your eye makeup. Not every look will go with this lip color. I recommend neutral eyes since the lip color can be on the reddish side. Believe it or not, when I purchased this lip paint it was the lightest color from the whole collection. Now, they have added more lighter colors. Since it's a brownish-red/mauve color and it looks darker on me, I would wear this for fall and winter. I could wear this for the summer but I prefer brighter colors. Lastly, it lasted until I ate/drank. I ate after several hours and I could see it come off on my napkin. With that said, this lip paint did not dry out my lips. I did not see any white residue in the center of the lips but I wouldn't say it's hydrating.

Pros:
* No noticeable scent.
* Creamy and slightly tick consistency.
* Does not tug on the lips.
* Opaque.
* Easy applicator.
* Dries matte.
* Once set, it doesn't feel like you're wearing lip product.
* Gorgeous fall and winter color.
* Lasted until I ate/drank.
* Not drying.
* Cruelty-free.

Cons:
* Will show all your flaws from dry patches to fine lines.

Would repurchase: Maybe.
Rating:  3.5/5 Tobey's Paws
